Week 5

This week was quite busy...we went to Lake Winnepesaukee with our friends from Travis' residency, had a bar-b-que with friends in Manchester, went to the beach and had lobster and steamers, went to Lowell, MA for a birthday party for one of Trini's coworkers where we met numerous families with kids of all ages, went blueberry picking once again, and went for a walk in one of Manchester's best parks...as you can see we had trouble finding time to post our pictures this week...also we had good news from Aaron (Travis's brother)...he and Libby had a little girl, Frances Katherine Harker on Wednesday August 24th at 3:11 pm(www.harkduck.blogspot.com)

Paloma's Cousin Frankie!

Cristina, Trini, Travis and Paloma went on a walk in Livingston Park in the heart of Manchester (not pictured Paloma and Travis) It's hard to believe that such a beautiful park is tucked inside New Hampshire's largest city.
Another day we went to the beach and Paloma is already exhibiting her fashion maven attributes by wearing her stylish beach hat.
Paloma is enjoying her tummy time...in fact, she's spending more time awake each day (on tummy and back) and she seems to be having a ball.

Week 4

Paloma continues to grow and we're enjoying every moment with her. This week she celebrated Travis' birthday with friends and family and helped Travis blow out the candles.

Travis is enjoying his favorite birthday gift...

Week 3 was busy...

Although it may not look like it in this photo Paloma is really helping us pick blueberries (our first trip doing so in NH!) 5 lbs of Blueberries later, Trini and Paloma decide to take a break in the shade while Abuelita goes in search of a vegetable well known in Mexico as verdolagas and in New Hampshire as a rapidly growing weed. The blueberry farm was eager to let Cristina "harvest" their weed...and later that night we were glad too after we'd had our yummy fill!

The next day we celebrated Matt and Brenda's little girl's birthday. Matt as usual was the life of the party although Paloma made a grand entrance.

Wednesday was Paloma's due date and so our good friend Howard Dean came to town to wish her a happy birthday (3 weeks old)! Actually he was in town rallying the local Democrats (and neither Howard nor Paloma screamed!)... sorry, we forgot the camera, this stock photo will have to do.

Paloma did get dressed up for the occasion and was inspired to do good things. Thinking of all the work the Democrats have to do got her all tuckered out!

Happy Dreams until next week!!!

2 Weeks

Pictures really do say more than words...these are just a few of Paloma's many faces...

"Are you lookin' at me?..."

"Why did Papa have to go back to work?!?"

"Just 10 more minutes...do parents have a snooze button?"

"Don't disturb me, I'm deep in thought..."

(Restriking my ultrasound pose...see the first post)

"What do I want to be when I grow up?..."

"Time with Abuelita is good..."
