9 to 11 Months!
Hello everyone! We're back from a 4 month blog hiatus and have loads of photos to share. Since our last entry, Paloma started rolling-over, crawling, standing, and walking-with-help over the course of her 9th month! For someone who was content to sit and play with things within arms reach she's had quite a change and now won't sit still!

We visited Nana (Travis' grandmother) in April and had a wonderful time! Paloma and Nana got to know ech other a little bit as Nana introduced her to Sarasota's highlights.
Paloma had her first day at the beach and she had a ball!! (Yes, the water was a bit cold)
While in Florida, Paloma honed her crawling skills and now has the run of the house.
All 3 of us participated in a walk to raise money and awareness for the March of Dimes in memory of Tabitha's son Cameron. Tabitha is a nurse who works with Travis pictured in the upper right.
Easter came and Paloma got dressed up in her special outfit from Grandma Martha in Hanover.

Speaking of Hanover, Travis finally graduated from Dartmouth with a Masters in Public Health. Paloma met Antonia Novello, former Surgeon General and the commencement speaker, and promptly shoved her hand in Dr. Novello's mouth...Luckily she responded with a kiss and a hug!In December, Travis will finish his fellowship and start as Dartmouth faculty doing both clinical and public health work.

Father's Day was another reason to sport a fancy dress and take it easy.
Most recently, we traveled to Ohio for a continuing medical education course for Trini and also so Paloma could meet her extended family. Nana (Paloma's grandmother) had her hands full with her 2 granddaughters.

Paloma and Frankie got along swimmingly and together explored the homes of Uncle Frank and Aunt Kathleen (a big special thanks to you for housing us on this trip!) and Uncle John and Aunt Sheila.
Frank and Kathleen hosted a family get together. Seeing all the cousins (all the kids Travis' age) and their children (see picture below) together kept smiles permanently fixed on our faces.

The Harker boys and their girls!

Paloma has a new best friend in Ohio with Cousin Lala (Laura)

We were fortunate that Pallavi and Anand and their two boys Vikram & Arjun were also visiting family in Ohio and we were able to get together again and also catch up with Nina, Travis' advisor/mentor/friend from Ohio State. Additionally, we caught up with Jim Hanje one of Travis' roomates from college who is in the middle of a gastroenterology fellowship and planning his wedding...congrats Jim!
Once back in New Hampshire Abuelita Cristina was kept busy finalizing the purchase of her new home just around the corner from Trini, Travis and Paloma. You can see how excited they both are -- as are we....Congratulations!
"I'm busy eating now, please come back soon...I promise I'll have my parents keep the blog up to date in the future, Hasta luego!"
