8 Months Already!
Greetings!
Paloma turned 8 months last Monday! These last 2 months have been quite exciting! She's gotten her first 2 teeth, "crawls" backwards (crab-like, just as her mom did), pulls herself to a stand, stands holding on one-handed, calls her "Mama" by name(!) and occassionally calls out for Dada, Papa. She definitely knows her own name and even says it... (sounds like wa-wo-ma)... She makes us smile all the time with what she says and what she does!
Below you can see her 2 pearly whites if you look closely.

Our first 3 kiddies (kitties), Seco, Coco and Thalia love spending time with her (note Seco is on the couch). Thalia is especially patient and affectionate, which means she tolerates a lot of fur and whisker pulling.

Paloma loves to smile and we love to capture her smiles with our camera! She smiles sitting around being "adorable"...

She smiles while practicing her dance moves...

She even smiles a little when she's trying to fly... she must be taking her name to heart!

We've captured some quality family time together... getting all dressed up for our neighbor's baby shower, reading with Papa, lounging around in our PJs, and having some dinner!
Paloma is happy to meet a new friend who somehow looks very familiar.
Next week we head to Sarasota to visit Grand-Nana. We're really looking forward to our vacation together, the visits with Grand-Nana and Pallavi, Anand and their new twins, and Florida's warm weather. Hasta la proxima!

Watching Paloma blossom on my computer screen is "magic." Just one more reason why some of us have turned into computer geeks. Paloma is more beautiful than ever and it is a joy to see her joy. You are doing a great job making a happy baby. mdj

TnT,
Paloma is growing so fast! I'm glad to hear that you are all doing well. I'm sorry I missed you two when you were in DC. We'll get together next time.
Paz,
David
