Return of the Jedi

In a galaxy far, far away...

Our Jedi-in-training hopes you will forgive us the very long delay in updating.
We hope you will enjoy seeing how Paloma has been changing -- almost magically...
Let's go....!

Paloma's enjoying Peggy and Steve's lakeside beach during the last days of summer.

And enjoying some early fall days running (yes, running) around the back yard!

Trini and Paloma show their excitement for going out to play!

At the park, Trini and Paloma explored the jungle gym and make some friends along the way.

In October, we headed out to Ohio to celebrate Dana and Brian's wedding and Nana's 90th birthday! Paloma and Frankie were reunited and as you can see, they were excited to have each other as playmates for the festivities.

Below, Paloma takes a breather on the stairs at Scioto Country Club.

Nana took a moment to pose with her grandsons John, Aaron, Travis and Chris...they all took turns dancing with Nana...and they could almost keep up with her!

Harker family portait time...from left to right:
Frankie, Libby, Aaron, Nana (Alice), Grandpa (Tom), Abuelita (Cristina), Travis, Paloma and Trini

While we were in Ohio we couldn't miss the "Greatest Free Show on Earth," the Circleville Pumpkin Show...Trini, Paloma, and Cristina had their first experience with Travis' hometown tradition, now 100 years old...

The Ukuleleman and his Prodigal Sons rocked out at the Show...both Paloma and Frankie were inspired to get up and dance to Grandpa's music.

Ukuleleman wasn't the only performing artist to have a presence at the Show!

Between pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin burgers (yes, pumkin burgers) Trini savors a moment with the girls...

Back in New Hampshire, we spent some time with our neighbors Gabriela and Amelia at a backyard BBQ in the summer and apple picking in the fall. Paloma especially enjoyed election day with a historic sweeping victory by the Democrats in New Hampshire!

It eventually did get cold and we had to break out the hat and mittens...

Inside, we were toasty warm and started making the most of bath time.

Paloma and Travis share a smile before heading off to school and work!

In December, we visited the Jungs in DC. Lucas, Isaac, Julie (not pictured) and Paloma had a wonderful time decorating the tree...it was also warm enough that we were able to take in the DC Zoo...Paloma loved the gorillas (also not pictured)

We realize now we hardly took any pictures during the Christmas season this year...what we do have, below, is from Paloma's school party, a visit from Nana and Grandpa, and Christmas day opening gifts!

For New Years we had a splendid dinner with the Zamudios at Cristina's house.

Paloma loves tugging and hugging and just hanging out with Coco...!
The next post will be soon...we've got a computer full of pictures from Mexico ready to be uploaded.
May the force be with you, Ole!
