14 weeks with a lot of catch-up
Happy Halloween!!!We've been having such a wonderful time together that the Blog took second fiddle for the past month...As you'll see, we've been quite busy.
Trini and Paloma capped off her maternity leave with a 2 week trip to California and Travis spent a vacation week with them in northern california visiting friends and family.
The occasion for the trip was Victor's 65th birthday bash...and as we all know finally being eligible for Medicare is a cause for celebration!
While in Monterey, we shared a lovely dinner with Mamaaa Cecile and Papaaa Victor at one of Trini's favorite restaurants...and it was quite "Taste"y!
Abuelita Cristina provided us with some of Trini's baby pictures and it's certain...Paloma looks just like her Mom!

We stayed with Aunt Judy in Santa Cruz and had a ball. We spent our days relaxing and visiting. As you can see Judy was tickled to meet Paloma and spend quality time with her.

Tia Celinda helped welcome Travis at the Airport and showed us some fine cuban food as well as her own home cookin'!
After our stay in Northern California, Travis went back to New Hampshire to get back to doctoring. Trini, Paloma, and Cristina headed south where they spent some time with Aunt Shirley and her family in Laguna.
We also passed some time with friends: Kristen, Gabriella, and Amelia in New Hampshire; Wendell at his homestead in the Salinas valley; Rebecca with a quick visit in the Trader Joe's parking lot; Liza, Joby and Jordan at Victor's fiesta!
Grandpa (aka the Ukulele Man) visited this weekend and met Paloma for the first time! His crooning and clowning delighted Paloma and made her laugh (and cry...? -- she really just needed to have her diaper changed!) We look forward to Nana and Grandpa's next visit in December.
Paloma continues to make the rounds among progressive minded Democrats at the annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner last night. Here she's pictured with New Hampshire Governor John Lynch as she advocates for universal health care!We can't believe how much Paloma has changed since we first met her on July 20th. She's wonderful and we fall more in love with her every day!!!
By the way, she's growin' like a weed...already 16 lbs and 25 1/2 inches. Now we know she's pretty like her Mom, and big like her Dad!
We leave you with the warmth of a California sunset (it snowed yesterday here in New Hampshire). !Hasta la next time!

What a cute Pumpkin! Palomita gets cuter and cuter! It was so nice seeing the family in September and meeting Paloma for the first time. From the pictures, it looks like you had a fun visit!
